BANKE KUKU

PRINTS FOR PURPOSE

PHILANTROPIC INITIATIVES

At Banke Kuku, our commitment transcends fashion; it's a purpose-driven journey where profits from our creations uplift Nigerian charities dedicated to community and environmental development. Every print bears a meaningful mission, contributing to a vision of "a Nigeria where people prosper while living in harmony with nature," as we proudly enter our third year as a member of the Nigeria Conservation Foundation.

In line with the African philosophy of Ubuntu, Archbishop Desmond Tutu spoke about, emphasized our interconnectedness with the phrase "I Am Because We Are," health and faith are intertwined with community for us. Individual well-being is inseparable from the well-being of others, and at

Banke Kuku, we wholeheartedly embrace this philosophy. The proceeds from our work goes to support various Nigerian charities dedicated to community and environmental development, ensuring that our prints have purpose.

Our contributions extend to donations for Bales of Mercy, an orphanage, and during the challenges of Covid-19, Banke Kuku's printed masks gained popularity beyond being a fashion statement. They became a symbol of compassion, with each sold mask a generous donation was made to Neighbourhood Link charity, who were offering support to Lagos residents encountering difficulties during the lockdown.
